
Center for Elders’ Independence Celebrates Significant Expansion with the Inauguration of Three New PACE Centers This Summer
In response to the growing demand for senior care services across the East Bay region, Center for Elders’ Independence (CEI) is opening three new Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) centers this summer. This major expansion will nearly triple CEI’s capacity, bringing compassionate, community-based care to over 3,200 older adults across Alameda and Contra Costa counties.

New Center for Elder's Independence (CEI) PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) Center opening at 3901 Broadway, Oakland, CA this summer. This new location will serve as a vibrant and welcoming community hub, fostering health, connection and joy for seniors who might otherwise face isolation. According to the Public Policy Institute of California, approximately 1.3 million seniors in the state live alone, representing a staggering 23% of California’s senior population.

The new centers will begin serving participants in May and host public community grand opening events on the following dates:
PACE Tri-Valley – Friday, July 25
2441 Constitution Drive, Livermore / Serving Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore
PACE West County – Friday, August 1
3645 San Pablo Dam Rd., El Sobrante / Serving West Contra Costa County
PACE Temescal – Friday, August 8
