Vurnon Anita is one of several fringe players still at Leeds United.
Andy Couzens has told Football League World that Vurnon Anita and other fringe players at Leeds United should leave if an offer comes in.
Marcelo Bielsa has a lot of players at Thorp Arch who he appears to have no use for.
In addition to Anita, a Netherlands international, Bielsa has Pawel Cibicki, Eunan O’Kane and Ouasim Buoy who also look to be finished at Leeds.
Cibicki returned to West Yorkshire this summer after being on loan in Sweden, while Anita and O’Kane spent last season with Willem II and Luton respectively.
No English club can sign any of the fringe players at Elland Road, but former Leeds midfielder Couzens advises the also-rans to take any chance they can to join a foreign side.
Couzens told Football League World: “Anita might be a little bit different, he might want to stay in the country, so that obviously can’t happen.
“If you want to play football and an offer comes in then I can’t see why they wouldn’t move.”
Anita joined the Whites in 2017 after being released by Newcastle United, but he didn’t have a brilliant first season at the club and Bielsa deemed him surplus to requirements last summer.
The 30-year-old is available to play several different positions, something that Bielsa likes from his players, but it would appear as if the three-time Dutch international isn’t good enough in any of them.
