MILLION DOLLAR BAND BRAVES HEAT TO PREPARE FOR FOOTBALL SEASON

Instead of practicing their music, the Million Dollar Band’s members worked on their steps and formations this week in preparation for the 2019 football season.

Fortunately for them, it was not nearly as hot Thursday as it was earlier this week. But, it’s still plenty hot for these young musicians.

“It’s because, like I said, it doesn’t get any cooler than this and we’re just so blessed to have people around us 24/7 to make sure we are all safe,” MDB member Abby Manasco said. “We have an amazing trainer who walks around with a water pump, keeping us cool. We have people out here with sunscreen, and we’re just so blessed to have that.”

Catch the Million Dollar Band on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 3 p.m. as they provide in-game entertainment at Alabama’s first home game of the season, against New Mexico State.
