Osceola youth soccer coach accused of molesting 9-year-old
A 9-year-old boy told investigators his soccer coach molested him on the way to practice, officials said.
Hugo Daniel Jimenez-Rumbos faces five counts of lewd and lascivious molestation.
In his mugshot, Jimenez-Rumbos was wearing what appears to be a soccer jersey.
According to an arrest report, Jimenez-Rumbos took the boy to a sporting goods store last month to get him knee pads.
The report said the boy told detectives while they were driving to the store in Kissimmee, and later on to practice, Jimenez-Rumbos touched his private area over his clothing four times.
After training, the boy said the soccer coach told him to do a bridge exercise where Jimenez-Rumbos then allegedly looked down the boy's pants.
The child's mother said her son called asking her to come pick him up. According to the report, she asked if he was all right to which he said he was but he wanted to return to Venezuela.
When detectives interviewed Jimenez-Rumbos, they said he admitted to inappropriately touching the boy.
Jimenez-Rumbos is being held in jail without bond.
