GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The University of North Dakota has lined up two football games at Nebraska.

The Fighting Hawks are scheduled to play in Lincoln on Sept. 3, 2022, and Sept. 19, 2026. It’s the first Big Ten Conference opponent for UND since the program moved up to Division I in 2008.

The Cornhuskers have won five national championships, the last in 1997. They joined the Big Ten in July of 2011 after spending the previous 17 seasons as a member of the Big 12 Conference. Nebraska went 4-8 this season.

The Fighting Hawks have five Football Bowl Subdivision teams on their schedule in the next eight years, starting next season at Washington. UND has road games set against Kansas State in 2020, Utah State in 2021 and Iowa State in 2024.
