Tennis star Andy Murray on Friday mocked President Trump after Trump claimed he turned down a chance to be Time’s “Person of the Year.”

“Bbc just called to say I was PROBABLY going to be named sports personality of the year but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot,” Murray tweeted, mocking Trump’s language from earlier in the day.

“Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named ‘Man (Person) of the Year,’ like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!” Trump tweeted earlier in the day.

Trump was previously named Time’s 2016 “Person of the Year.”

Trump’s tweet Friday afternoon follows an online readers’ poll that shows Trump being outperformed by singer Taylor Swift and San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz for this year’s honor.

This year’s winner will be announced on Dec. 6.

Others on social media also mocked the president for his tweet.
