#Champs2018 | Elated Ingram receives gold medal for Steeplechase run

It was an elated Aneisha Ingram of Edwin Allen High who this afternoon accepted the gold medal for her winning performance Thursday night in the 2000m Steeplechase Open of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Athletics Championship.
Ingram, the pre-race favourite clocked 7:07.02 minutes at the National Stadium this morning.
On Thursday night, she finished ahead of rival Samantha Pryce of Holmwood Technical, who clocked 7:09.35 minutes.
Third place went to last year’s champion Jeima Davis, also of Edwin Allen, who had a time of 7:17.89 minutes.
